What's one thing no one knows about you? I stole a piece of white chocolate from a bulk bin at the food store when I was a kid. Funny thing is I didn't even like white chocolate that much at the time. What's one thing everyone assumes about you that isn't true? I have no idea tbh. I haven't noticed anybody making assumptions about me. What's one thing you wish you could stop? People being cruel to each other. What's one thing you've always wanted to do, but never have? Been to Europe. And sell out a venue bigger than a club. What are you a sucker for? Otters. What's your biggest pet peeve? People who can't chew their food quietly or neatly. JFC keep your trap shut when there's food in it. I will slap the taste out of your mouth. What can absolutely make your day, no matter what? Hanging out with people I love, eating pizza and doing something fun. Also, being on stage. What's the worst part of your life right now? I feel like I'm stuck in a bit of a rut, career wise. Do you have or want children? No, and maybe? If/when you ever have children, what is one thing you absolutely want to teach them? Be polite, ya little jerks. What was the worst advice your father ever gave you? The best? 'It's just a phase.' If you can count that as advice. He told me that about both my wanting to be a musician, and when I told him I'm bisexual. I haven't grown out of either 'phase'. When did you feel you'd finally 'come of age?' Shit I sometimes feel like I still haven't. Probably when Speedwell got its first real gig. How do you deal with depression, stress or sadness? Music. Either blast it in headphones until my teeth rattle, or I sing until I don't feel like crying or screaming. How do you think of yourself? I think I'm a pretty okay guy, usually. How do your friends think of you? I think they like me. Or they wouldn't be my friend. How do your enemies think of you? Do I have enemies?! Fuck you, enemies! What is your biggest accomplishment to date? Making and selling an album. It sold more than five copies, so I count that as a success. What will it take for you to die happy? To be well known, well respected, and well loved. What would you rather be doing right now? |
